I played dungeons and dragons for the last 30 years of my life. Not every day is away from my mind, I know so are many of us. Nearly 50 yearspeople gather at the table, weaving magic, monsters and stripteases, rolling stories of shiny mathematical rocks (dices) to determine the fate of their adventure party.
D&D fifth edition tells us that it can be played purely in the “Theater of the Mind” and only The best D&D books It takes some dice, but if you spend any time playing the game, you will know that using some cool accessories can enhance the fun. Not strictly required to use all the products listed here, but in my 30 years of having been on sling spell, I found these products to be the best accessories on hand.
What are the best D&D accessories?
Some people think you only need a set of dice to play with dragons. These people are wrong, maybe a little unpopular. You will never have too many dice, and thankfully there are thousands of dice to choose from. Are you looking for your own The first group of polyhedral dice Less than $10 or Huge dice bag So all players can borrow them, and dice is the best accessory you have on the gaming table.

Chessex has been making D&D accessories for a long time, and The Pound’O’Dice is probably the best deal. For just $20, you can get 100 dice to start collecting. These are considered factory seconds and won’t be fully colored, but they can be used in any game, especially at this price.
If you’re looking for something more exotic, you can always try it Wiz Dice Cup of Wondera set of 35 dice (five sets and five sets), which contains a dice oscillator and imitation box.

We all have this problem: you are going to the next round and suddenly someone will challenge you to D&D’s game. You can’t just say no, but you don’t have any dice to make the right choice either. Well, Rolacrit has designed a new way to help you prepare. They are called spell component dice, and they are the most commonly used spell breeds. You have the standard seven dice kit, but the Magic Missile also has a set of 9D4s, Fireball 8D6s, and a 9D8 in healing wounds. Each dice kit is included in a small capsule that allows you to hang the keys with a small number of clips. This means that no matter what kind of D&D action happens, you can prepare some dice and make a difference.
The best online tool

D&D Exhy The best online D&D tools. In it, you can create up to six characters for the fifth edition of the game and buy digital copies of your favorite companion books. You also have free access to most basic rules and spells to help you get started with the game.
If you want to improve the game, there are also several levels of subscription. Master-$5 per month ($30 or $55 for six months) allows you to share features from resource books and adventure books with the entire group, rather than asking everyone to buy their own copy, which is the one we recommend.
Carry your entire D&D collection with you

D&D is a travel game. Unless you are forever DM (sorry, if you are), then you may be going to play in a different house and you need to carry things with you. Like the D&D’s eponymous character, the bags are carried larger than they should look and make your game easier.
My laptop, mini and lots of dice have plenty of room for six books. There is even room for a bottle of water and a play mat on the side. The bag is full of small pockets and hiding holes to help organize everything. This is not the cheapest addition to your gaming experience, but it is a great game.

If you are the kind of D&D player who loves to write in-depth backstory, carefully document and enjoy a well-organized character list in each lesson, Field Notes 5E Diary is specially made for you. These small laptops have everything that makes normal live annotations, with simple and portable designs, and add character tables and designated pages for inventory, which you can keep as a single campaign diary.
As someone who plays multiple games with different friends, I find these journals very helpful in keeping the characters organized. There is even a diary for the game masters, with additional details that can make the game easier.
The connected D&D accessories are great, but expensive

First, let me say these are indulgence, but I fell in love with one. These connected dice have two parts; you all need to make it work. First of all Go to the dice ($100), a set of D6s that can be controlled by applications on your phone. The second is the RPG bundle listed here. This allows you to put five dice in the case of polyhedral – the last D6 doesn’t require a case; it’s already D6 – the app recognizes them as D20, D8, etc.
The coolest part is that the app connects directly to Discord, Roll 20 and Foundryvt, so you can roll the physical dice and view the results in a digital game. One of the things I miss most about playing on a virtual desktop is the physics of rolling dice that brings all the dice back.
The best gaming mat

Theatre of the mind is an interesting concept, but it’s a hard sale when your spell asks you to know exactly how many feet the target is in any given direction. Having a good combat mat makes it easier to imagine the process of fighting or town layout. The set comes with several maps with images on it to better set the scene and provide some handy clips to stop the mat from scrolling. It also has dry-style alumni markings so you can draw sketches on top of it.
There are three maps in the collection, each with scenes or blanks on both sides, and also a grid mode that easily measures 5 feet of space between characters.
Best 3D printer for the best D&D miniature

Any resin 3D printer will provide an excellent microcosm of your D&D games. The details are great, and it takes very little time to print six to eight minis in one go. If you don’t know where to find the model, I would recommend MZ4250’s Patreon page If you only need $1 per month, you can access hundreds of 3D printable mini files, or, if you want something more customizable, try Hero Forge, an online mini generator. Hero Forge allows you to buy physical mini or print STL for yourself.
If you want to build larger kits, check out our The best 3D printer There are more options.
The best way to track conditions

When you reach the later campaign level, the conditions for the character and monster begin to stack. Sleep, blindness and “fire” are just some conditions that may occur regularly. These color-coded rings are located around a standard mini base, making it easy to see the conditions each character suffers.
I really like this particular collection because it has a blank ring and a white marker so you can create your own conditions and the box has a color key so you can see each condition at a glance. This is especially useful when you stack the rings on top of each other.
The best way to store role tables
Photo gallery 1/1
If your game is more traditional and you don’t use D&D, you may need a case to take you to GM’s home. This neat folio box has space for dice, mini, player manual and character table. Character table storage is especially useful because it has a transparent plastic cover that you can mark with dry alumni markers. This makes it easy to mark temporary hit point losses and other non-permanent conditions.
Do you have any questions? We have the answer.
Playing D&D can be complicated and you may find yourself with lots of books, dice and other accessories. First, you need these six things:
- Role List From the D&D website
- Pencil (Pencil is not a pen, because you need to change the statistics)
- A set of polyhedral dice on the 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 20 sides.
- There are at least some rules. We recommend Starter packD&D surpasses the rules or Player Manual.
- What kind of game do you want to play?
- A group of friends who want to play.
With only these things, you can start playing D&D and you may have a great time.
It doesn’t have to be. As a player, you only need what is listed above. Or, if you’re a master of gaming, you can pay $5 for DE&D, while your players can share books for free, making it a cheaper proposition. Most of the time D&D happens in mind, the dice rolls well. It can be as budget friendly as you want.
Most D&D games are divided into two different types: campaigns and conferences. Sessions usually last between 2 and 8 hours, depending on each person’s schedule and are a normal measure of the game. A sport is a whole activity that is strung together many times. When your story comes to a conclusion, the campaign is over and it’s time to start a new story.
