Braugher filmed several episodes of the show before his death, resulting in Giancarlo Esposito taking over the role. At the end of the show’s final episode, the Shondaland series’ book “In memory of Andre Braugher” recognizes Braugher’s contribution. Several actors and staff also talked about the loss of actors including Esposito Who said“My performance is a complete honor to honor him. I know him.
