Best Earbuds and Headphones for Workouts and the Gym in 2025

Anker Sport X10’s SoundCore:The SoundCore Sport X10 has an interesting design, the rotating rotating ear hook flips when used and flips when you want to set it as a charging box, and the kit has a smaller footprint than many buds with ear hooks. As long as you get a tight seal, they sound good, with strong, powerful bass and good detail. They also have aggressive noise cancellation, which works well, although not as good as Sony or Bose noise cancellation. They also have a fully waterproof IPX7 IP rating, meaning they can be completely submerged in 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. Battery life is up to eight hours and there are three additional charges in charging cases.

Shokz opens: Shokz’s entry-level OpenMove bone conduction headphones are listed at a price of $80, although we occasionally see it dropping below $70. It replaces the older titanium model and has some small design upgrades. I find comfortable wearing, and while not very good, it sounds like bone-departing headphones sound relatively good – again, keep your sound quality expectations or you will be disappointed. It is perfect for listening to podcasts, audiobooks and news broadcasts while running.

Sennheiser Sport TrueWireless: The true wireless Bluetooth earbuds (approximately $130) are essentially Sennheiser’s CX True wireless earbuds with sport fins – for a safer fit – and better durability. They have an IP54 rating, making them splash-resistant and dust-resistant. CX TRUE wireless rated IPX4 does not provide dust resistance.

Skullcandy Promotion Events : With their ear hook design, they are essentially a more affordable version of the Beats PowerBeats Pro, and they are actually slightly better than the PowerBeats Pro – I don’t usually like ear hook style buds, but these are one of the better models. They are also much less expensive than beats.

CLEER Audio Arc 2 Motion: Cleer’s original curved earbuds are solid sports earbuds with nice sound for open style buds, they are located on top of your ears and make a fire sound. The 2023 model (approximately $170) improves sound quality and offers additional improvements and feature upgrades, including a new “enhanced” charging box (Bluetooth 5.3) with UV sterilization and multi-point Bluetooth connectivity (Bluetooth 5.3), all of which significantly improve the product.

Beat PowerBeats Pro: While PowerBeats Pro is still a popular workout headset, they have been around for a few years, so it’s best to buy them at a discounted price.

JBL Live Pro 2: Over the years, JBL headphones have launched some nice real Bluetooth earbuds, but nothing can excite me. With the arrival of new products with Samsung owned brands, this situation has finally changed Live Pro 2 and Free 2 bud. Two sets of buds – the Real-Time Pro 2 has a stem, while the Live Free 2 has a pill-shaped design – provides comfortable fit, strong noise reduction, good sound quality and voice calling performance, as well as a powerful set of features including multi-point Bluetooth pairing, IP rating IPX5 (plas-Profforn) (SPLASH-PROFFARE) and wireless charging.

Sony Linkbuds: In a sense, LinkBuds is Sony’s answer to Apple Standard airpods. While they don’t sound as good as the noise-isolated Bluetooth earbuds from Sony’s flagship WF-1000XM4 or Linkbuds, they offer a discreet, innovative design and a safer fit than the AirPods, and the sound is not bad, and the dubbing performance is great. Like the third generation AirPods, their open design allows you to hear the outside world – that’s all about the ring. Read our Sony Linkbuds review.
