This M. Night Shyamalan Movie Was Written Off. Now It's Getting Its Due on Netflix's Top 10

weekly, Netflix Revealed its top 10 list of the previous week, with the most rankings Movie and TV Shows. M. Night Shyamalan arrives at Netflix’s 2024 trap last week Meme It spawns more than what it was when it was released last summer. (The 15-minute fame of this movie comes from the internet, not the cinema is the peak of the 2020s. See also: Internet Lady. ) Due to the release on Netflix: It released fourth place on the platform’s top movie list in the week from March 10 to 16, the trap seems to be the second time it’s captured. But this time, it seems like people may be watching movies just for the sake of movies. They should-this is an interesting movie.

The Trap is Shyamalan’s 16th film, which may not be remembered as much as his 1999 breakthrough reached the sixth Sense. But Will any His movie? Despite its ridiculous premise, its talents create viral moments and mixed reviews (from “outrageous” to “glorious” – it’s a great time, and it’s no surprise that people are looking for it. Josh Hartnett, a suburban father, is exciting, stupid and often funny, and he’s ridiculed as a serial killer trying to escape the police. It also features a great performance by Alison Pill, his wife and M. Night Shyamalan’s daughter Saleka Night Shyamalan is a rising pop star in real life, playing the world-renowned pop star. (Some people online Criticized the actor As a nepotism, Nepos will keep moving forward, but that’s not the hill I’m going to die for. I like her. )

Hartnett plays Cooper, a devout father who is also secretly a serial killer called “The Butcher.” He took a man as a hostage somewhere in the basement as we spoke! To reward his daughter Ariel Donoghue for good results, Cooper grabbed a ticket to see Riley’s favorite singer, Raven Lady Raven.

In the early stages of the movie, the moment that turns the movie into a virus occurs when Cooper talks to a businessman in the arena and learns that the concert is grabbing his setup. “Do you know the butcher?” asked Cooper, a concert employee played by Jonathan Langdon. “Freak work, around people’s efforts? The Fed heard he was here today. So they set a trap for him. The whole concert was a trap.” The fair was too perfect to ignore keyboard auteurs on the nose, so it was the arrival of one of the biggest memes of the year.

While much of the film is about Cooper’s fanatical attempt to quit the concert while escaping the Fed, he ends up using Mrs. Crow himself as a shield, threatening the lives of her and the man he took the hostage so that she can cooperate and help him escape. Like all Shyamalan movies, there are plot twists and turns, and there are tensions, all leading to the final moments, which may make most viewers shake their heads incredibly, or laugh at it’s ridiculous. However, I was in my era of fluffy movies and honestly, I would rather watch Hartnett Escape from reality.

I can’t write about traps without mentioning my favorite Easter egg, actor Hayley Mills, in the movie. Mills was known in the 1960s as a Walt Disney Film Star, most notably in the original version of Parent Trap – perhaps my favorite movie as a kid, which is why this connection makes me so exciting. In that movie, she plays the twins, who “frames” her divorced parents to get them together again. It’s a subtle word game, but she’s here a woman trying to capture her parents again – only this parent is also a murderer, terrorizing the streets of Philadelphia.

Trap happens to be the only M. Night Shyamalan movie on Netflix right now, though not Great The movie (Rotten Tomatoes’ 57% recognition rate is correct), it’s a tense 105 minutes of pure fun that can still let you sleep and then it’s too late.
