Turning Point US founder Charlie Kirk’s assassination has had a greater impact on young people in Arizona at his organization’s headquarters.
TPUSA’s location and its political division, the turning point in headquarters, led to the organization playing a great role in Grand Canyon State, which was considered highly competitive in 2024.

The state also has several large universities, including Arizona State University, University of Arizona Private Christian institutions in Tucson, Northern Arizona University and Grand Canyon University – West Phoenix.
Arizona State University’s Republican and TPUSA held a large vigil for Kirk Monday night, and sources familiar with the event told Fox News numbers that it had about 10,000 people registered to attend.
Jordan Oveson and Chandler Buchanan, 23, told Fox News Digital on Saturday that Kirk’s body was held there.
“He really means a lot to me, helping young people find their voices and talk about faith and politics. I feel like a lot of young people have a hard time figuring out what they believe, and I feel like Charlie Kirk, I feel like Charlie Kirk has really helped a lot of people, especially young people, knowing and finding their faith and finding their voices and finding their voices,” Buchanan said.

“I knew so much about him until he came to Grand Canyon University last year and talked to all of us, and I heard what he said, he was bringing all of this through God and his faith. I do come from a Christian university, so I already believe that, but I looked deeper at our freedom as people and our freedom, and he was very enlightening about that.
Buchanan said the tragedy could “put a lot of people closer to God, and that will help many people find what they really believe.”
TPUSA has seen 37,000 new chapter requests since Wednesday’s shooting, the team already has about 900 colleges and 1200 high school chapters, and jobs and volunteer applications have increased.
“I personally received hundreds of people working for us, either for free, or just for you,” TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet told Fox News Digital.

Kirk’s life celebrations are scheduled to be held Sunday at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where Trump said he plans to attend. On the weekend of the event, the hotel was sold out immediately around the stadium.
His wife, Erika KirkIn her first public remark since her husband’s assassination, people were called upon to join the “bible church” and participate in the American turn to commemorate the legacy of the killed activists to participate in the Christian faith.

“For everyone who listens to America tonight, the movement my husband built won’t die,” she said. “It won’t. I refuse to let that happen. No one will forget my husband’s name. I will make sure it will become stronger. Bold. Big, bigger than ever. My husband’s mission will not end. Not even for the time being.”
