SNL ridiculed his anti-Trump stance with “support” his victory: “Always with you”
Breed reporter Ethan Shanfeld ask Walker, especially after the Instagram message attracted attention, the show was toxic. Walker said he is still “trying to find the right way to go into details” but criticized the show’s approach to how the actors were handled.
“The show can benefit from it,” Walker said. “What ends up happening in the summer is often people hanging on big life decisions – people trying to open a family or buy a house – there is no news on the show about whether they have a job. The show doesn’t tell them all the summer and then when they try to work hard for a few months, they will eventually fire them.”

He clarified: “That’s not my case, but I know what’s going on. If there’s one thing I want the future of the show to be a lot of humans can be added. I know it’s the show business, and it’s the show business, and people have life, but people should know that people should know what most people do in a reasonable job.
Walker added that his departure from the show was a “common decision” between him and the producers, not a matter of being fired or withdrawn. Still, he advocates for greater transparency on behalf of actors who rely heavily on their work.
“But again, the measure of transparency and clarity about people’s employment…we are humans. We have food to put on the table. Some of us support others in our lives, and we don’t make millions of dollars on the show. It’s not like we’re undoubtedly good once we leave,” Walker said.
