A former reality TV star who lost his home in January California Wildfire accused Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) of delaying reconstruction efforts at a press conference Wednesday.

“When people think, ‘How do you think of the congressional investigation by Republican senators on Palisade?’ I’m glad someone is investigating why someone pays nearly $700 million in taxes to those employees and is not being questioned in front of every judge, jury, investigator, police, sheriff, detective,” Pratt said.
He added: “No Democratic senator asked me to visit my parents’ burnt, all my friends and community were burned a lot. So if they had one, I would go to Washington with them.”

She said that despite $3.2 billion in federal aid distributed by the SBA alone, homeowners and businesses were unable to rebuild due to “the breeding of California bureaucrats.”
