Florida The university announced in a statement Monday that guard Ethan Pritchard was in critical but stable form after being shot Sunday night.
Pritchard is a 6-foot-224 pound freshman visiting his family Havana, Florida, when he was shot.
“The Pritchard family thanks many for their support and care from first responders and medical professionals and demands respect for their privacy at this time. Further updates will be provided where available,” Florida State University said in a statement.

Pritchard continues to receive intensive care at the Tallahassee-Area Hospital, the university added. He did not compete in the Seminoles’ 31-17 victory No. 8, Alabama Saturday.
The Gadson County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to the Fox News figures investigation.
Pritchard played high school football at Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida and is a four-star recruit. He was named No. 437 in the 247Sports Comprehensive and No. 507 nationwide in the ON3 industry ranking.

ESPN ranked Pritchard as the 39th guard in the country and 64th in Florida.
As a senior, he helped lead Seminole High School to a 10-2 record and won the second straight regional final in 2024, recording 39 tackles and 7 tackles in nine games.

As a junior, Pritchard had 75 tackles and 11 tackles, and Seminole High School recovered its failure with a score of 10-3. He began his high school career as he was a sophomore and then transitioned to defender.
Pritchard worked in Florida in October 2023 In Miami, Florida and UCF etc.
