Florida police spread a “large, non-rotten spring break party” on Sunshine Island beach Friday, a northern resort South of Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
Sunshine Island Police Department It said it broke the party “quickly and effectively” at the 174th Street party with the help of neighbouring agencies.
“The party was successfully dispersed and the police were still on the scene to ensure safety and order,” the police department said in a press release.
The authorities added that the safety and well-being of residents and visitors are top priorities for the police department and that “untolerated gatherings and destructive behavior will not be tolerated”.
