this Martin County, Florida, The Sheriff’s Office said Thursday they arrested a man for pretending to be an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.
Police said José Juan Lopez, 23, tried to tighten two Hispanic men and threatened to expel them.
However, the victim was alert to Lopez and realized that he didn’t seem to be Law enforcement officers.

“The victims were all Hispanic men, and they told deputies that Lopez, who lives in Indiana, told them that he was an Icefield agent and asked their identification to further threaten to expel them,” according to the sheriff’s office. “The victim’s suspicion of Lopez, drove down and called 911.”

Shortly after, when deputies followed Lopez, he claimed to be the victim.
“Deputies were able to track Lopez, who claimed he was the actual victim and said the two threatened him to be deported,” the sheriff’s office said. “After further inquiry, the deputies arrested and accused Jose Juan Lopez of impersonating federal law enforcement.”
Police also say Lopez Arrested before To resist arrest, possession of controlled substances, probation violations, child abuse, household batteries and batteries.
