Sarasota’s new Florida college announced Tuesday it will commission the statue of the founder of the U.S. late turn point Charlie Kirknoting that the tribute will be a symbol of its commitment to protecting the First Amendment and cultivating civil discourse.
Although details of the statue have not been released yet, the academy shared sample renderings of the bronze statue, which left Kirk sitting on a four-legged table with two open chairs holding a microphone.
The scene is reminiscent of Kirk’s American event nationwide, and the 31-year-old conservative activist will invite undergrad When he sat behind the table, he discussed political issues peacefully.

William Witt, New University The chief social media officer told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that the new Florida college believes the statue will remind “the whole thing about America.”
“It can be difficult to have a conversation, but it’s worth it,” Witt said. “The best idea wins. [Conversations] That’s civil, people are actually together. ”
According to the college, the statue will be privately funded by community leaders.
“We’ve poured into the crowds of people who come and say, ‘I want to support, I want to donate to really make it a reality,'” Witt said. “It’s just a huge downpour for people. … We’re so excited that we can do that and we hope Charlie can come to our campus while he’s still alive. We want to do our best to remember his memories, his legacy and everything he represents.”

The location of the statue will be announced in the coming months and is expected to be unveiled by the end of the year.
“We hope to take action as soon as possible on this because we think it’s really important,” Witt said.
Witt noted that nothing can satisfy 100% of people, but most students say they are “proud” for the school to make decisions.
While the new academy has not spoken about security details, Witt said: “If anyone takes action against the memorial, they will be punished and will take action against those people.”

He advocates freedom of speech and have open conversations throughout his career, urging young people to fight for their ideas and avoid silence on those they may disagree with.
“One of the most frightening and surprising evolutions we have witnessed in the extensive campus network is the rapid movement, from tolerating opposing ideas and respectful debates to the deployment of obscene bullying strategies of the left,” Kirk said.

University of Florida Democrats and New College Democrats did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News numbers.
