“The Memorial Park is an important landmark in our city. It Second World War Veteran. It is a huge park with 17 acres in the city’s downtown, which provides us with huge open and green spaces, so many recreational facilities. Pearlman and Tucker are members of Save Boca, a grassroots group designed to protect parks and public lands throughout the city, including memorial parks.

“We have collected signatures of the petition [to block the new government campus] Throughout Boca City, we have spoken with long-term residents,” he said.
“No one knows that they intend to destroy the park, they tell us how they grew up while the kids were playing baseball in these fields, and then, as they grew up, they followed by the little league in which their children were coaching their children in those fields, and people were shocked. What happened was a prairie movement, and soon after a prairie movement was formed and swept through the city.”
