Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier His office will issue civil and criminal subpoenas to Harjinder Singh’s employer, who is accused of committing an illegal turnaround in Florida, which resulted in the crash killing three people.
Singh, officials said to cross Illegal U.S. borders And on August 12, he was awarded a commercial driver’s license in California while driving on the Florida Turnpike in Fort Pierce, and was charged with three counts of vehicle homicide.
Singh tried to turn around in an unauthorized area as he drove. The trailer was then hit by a stylis minivan, killing all three of the minivans, officials said.
Singer was arrested in Stockton, California and extraditioned to Florida, and he faces charges.

Officials said they believe Singh crossed the U.S.-Mexico border in 2018. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainees were issued in August.

Uthmeier said in a press conference that he was issuing a subpoena for Singh’s employer, White Hawk Carriers.

“We will use every tool to fight back and protect our citizens. So today we will issue these subpoenas against the person’s employer. As a reminder, this person does not know how to speak English. He cannot read the road signs. He should not get that CDL license in the first place,” Uthmeier said. “Not only is he illegally here in the country, he also has no ability, skills.
Uthmeier also said his office made legal claims to California and Washington to “get as much information as possible about how that individual gets these licenses.”
