“This is hopeful that we justify our work with five things,” federal worker Cathy told MSNBC in an interview at Haymarket, Virginia last week.
“Last week was Saturday night and I was actually working on Saturday night to make up for all the disruptions I had last week, and that came from the administration,” Casey said. “So I was working on, trying to catch up, and then I got that email on it. It’s hard to keep my mind when you’re threatened and harassed.”

One was sent last weekend and the other was a dispatch this week, with the subject line “What did you do last week? Part Two”, sparked controversy and spread the virus on social media and cable news reports.
A recent email asked employees to “reply this email, with about 5 bullets describing what you achieved last week and CC your manager.”

Response is required before 11:59 ET. Monday and people working in sensitive or confidential information specifying their activities are sensitive.
MSNCB host Ali Vitali, who spoke to attendees at a townhouse, told Morning Joe’s Joe Scarborough that she heard some federal workers were receiving anxiety medication due to stress from emails.
“People are so anxious and concerned about their financial well-being, and they themselves are able to continue serving the U.S. public,” Vitali said. “One woman we even heard from there told me she called a doctor for anti-anxiety medication because the barriers to harassment and email are so radical.”
