Federal Judge Rule on Thursday Litigation attempting to prevent the government’s Department of Efficiency from obtaining records from millions of Americans may take place.
With privacy regulators, the Electronic Border Foundation and two unions, there are more than 100 current and former federal employees Prosecuted Doge, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Elon Musk In February.
The government filed a motion for firing, but on Thursday the judge denied the motion.
The lawsuit attempts to block OPM from disclosing records To do and Doge’s agents. It also hopes that any information that has been shared can be returned. This ruling does not mean that the lawsuit itself will bring victory to the plaintiffs, but it does keep them moving forward.
