The FBI set up a task force on Monday to combat violence Tesla attack, Fox News numbers have learned.
The FBI task force was created with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Guns (ATF) and will coordinate investigative activities.
Fox News Digital learned that various situations have occurred in recent weeks, vandals, arson and shootings targeting Tesla vehicles, dealerships and charging stations.
A source familiar told Fox News Digital that there is no connection between people involved in a series of arson incidents in Tesla dealerships, real estate and online groups.

Since March 1, 2025, the FBI has received 48 “guardians” related to Tesla’s violence, criminal activities and threatening communications. Guardians assess incidents based on counter-terrorism.
The FBI is investigating with federal, state and local law enforcement partners and has conducted seven investigations in seven arson investigations.

“The FBI will relentlessly protect the American people,” a FBI spokesman said. “Like the recent Tesla attacks, violence, vandalism and family terrorism will be pursued by the full force of the law.”

As for the task force, a threat tag was created at the FBI to simplify reporting and a command post was created at the FBI headquarters (the FBI headquarters). It consists of a joint FBI/ATF working group to mitigate threat flows.
