“A cyclist, later known as Bobby Dan Green of Palmer, was hit by a vehicle that then fled the scene. Unfortunately, Mr. Green succumbed to his injuries,” the sheriff’s office wrote.

The layman’s own Facebook profile shows that she shared the two posts on April 1, and the same day the authorities arrested her.

“In a joint investigation involving the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Officer Collins, the 12th Justice Drug Task Force and the Tennessee Highway Patrol, authorities arrested Haley Layman, 25, in connection with the fatal crash that claimed the life of Bobby Green.”
