“I take the Constitution seriously. I believe in freedom of speech. If only language we agree with is covered, then the First Amendment is not necessary,” Xieill said in a statement. “This is to protect people like Charlie Kirk who have raised evil oppositions. But it is also intended to protect people who may express the president’s views that teachers, doctors and TV comedians don’t like.”
“Charlie Kirk advocates a Christian nationalist government and takes back the rights of women and black people – in the face of every value I have and I fight for it, it’s all flying in,” she added. “But, even for those who strongly object, the Constitution protects freedom of speech.”
