Acknowledge the threat
According to Constantine, individuals often leave digital or verbal clues before committing violence. She quoted her work FBI Consultant Language analysis software is called “deciphering”, which studies the patterns associated with violent criminals.
“They analyzed the language of known serial killers, arsonists and mass murderers and found a consistent language in it,” she explained.
She added that her research includes analyzing letters and manifestos, blogs and text messages, things that can enable authorities to understand whether a person is going to perform violence.
“In other cases where I work, it was written throughout the wall,” she said.

Constantine expressed hope that the lessons of these terrible behaviors will prompt society to take action in advance.

She added that the schedule hit her. “When I found out about Kirk, I was actually in a meeting. It was surreal.”

The next step in the investigation
Now that Robinson is in custody, investigators will focus on interviews and interrogations to reveal his motivations and potential connections, Constantine said.
“First, you start with the interview. You want him to open up and tell the story from beginning to end. Then, after evaluating what they have collected, they will most likely leave the room and decide whether to go to interrogate.”
“They would say, ‘So now is the time you tell us because if you don’t, you’re looking down at the barrel of the death penalty.”

It was probably the most tragic part of all, she said: “He did nothing wrong. He was the right person to work. He was able to speak the truth and open up the conversation without condemning them, but to bring them closer to Christ.”
