Lisa Whelchel wants to get a direct look at the true reality of the “Facts of Life” restart.

“We are all very, very disappointed,” the 61-year-old told The Outlet.

“We’ve been trying to find a way to work together with some ability over the past decade,” Whelchel explained. “So when it seems like this is going to happen, we’re all very excited. The contract was signed, the writer’s strike happened, the actor’s strike happened, and unfortunately, the PA [Charlotte Rae] Norman Lear passed. After that, it just dissipated. ”
“We are all disappointed,” Wheecher stressed.

Rae plays a wise and patient roommate who becomes a group of teenage girls who died in 2018 at the age of 92. Lear died in 2023 at the age of 101.

A year later, Cohn was on Sirius XM’s “Jeff Lewis Live”, where she revealed “Greedy B—” because the restart plan was put on hold.
Cohn explained that after the success of the ABC special, “Living in front of a studio audience: The Facts of Life and Difference”, in 2021, which includes two shows, is an all-star entertainment for both shows. Including the role of Jennifer AnistonLear reached out to help.

“He said, ‘Are you guys interested?’ We never really talked about that, but we started thinking about it, we hired a writer and the four of us got together on Zooms.

When asked what happened, Cohen replied, “What happened is not cute. Yes… there is drama.”
“Not only that,” Cohen said. “[She] Leaning behind our backs, trying to make separate derivative deals for ourselves and destroy the rest of us. …I booked the “Palm Royal”; another girl was working. I just said it was 40 years of friendship and sisterhood. There was a tide around. ”
She added: “She is a greedy B—, I’ll say that.”

The 58-year-old said the actresses didn’t say anything “for a while now we did it, but there must be, that’s a joke.”
She added that “don’t want to work together” and the restart is “dead. It’s dead.”
“A few people can’t surpass it, and don’t want to surpass it. We are not like unity. Let me say that. We have been united for 40 years because there is no talk to each other, no dirty, not one person, one person, this is a destruction person, it is pathetic. It’s really sad,” Cohen said.

The “Palm Royal” star was asked about “Greedy B—” being her co-star – Whelchel, Kim Fields or Nancy McKeon.
Cohen refused to say, but hinted that her Instagram contained answers and pointed out who she was with and she didn’t know who she was.
The master continued to try to guess, but they said Cohen would not be annoying.

At the end of the show, the caller suggested it was based on Cohn’s Instagram-coated Whelchel. Cohen joked that it was George Clooney, who appeared on the show early in his career.
At the time, Cohn shared his birthday news with Fields and McKeon, but did not share Whelchel on her Instagram. Representatives of Whelchel, McKeon, Fields and Cohn did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Cohen said that on “Jeff Lewis Live,” she accepted the revival and did not get out of the ground.
“No one wants to see us now,” she said. “Do you know what cuteness? They want to see where you are now. They don’t want the show. Honestly.”
“It should stay where it is,” Cohen shared. “…I think it’s in a good place…this thing should stay wrapped.”

In 2022, Whelchel talks to Fox News Digital about a possible restart.
“It’s a great journey to memory,” she said at the time. “…we’ve been talking about reimagining the ‘facts of life’ and bringing it back again. Nothing is set, but it’s really fun to talk about it. The table I brought to these conversations is [that] I would love to see more acceptance of the reality of middle-aged women. ”
“…I’m 15 pounds heavier than ‘life facts’,” she shared. “If we were to reimagine the show, I really hope my character can solve the reality we face when we reach a certain age.”

Whelchel notes that she wants to browse the realistic description of her character’s life.
“You just get more fluffy and it’s hard to lose weight no matter what you do,” she said. “Unless you want to dedicate your life to exercise your celery sticks for four hours a day, you look like a middle-aged woman. I don’t want to hide. I don’t want to make people feel less.”
“The actors and actresses on TV have personal trainers and personal chefs,” she continued. “They are committed to looking forward to their lives in some way. I want to look more realistic. I am proud of my journey.”

“Facts of Life” aired From 1979 to 1988, on NBC, it stood out from the series “Diff’rent Strokes” created by Lear. Situation comedy has been popular and popular on multiple networks for years.
In 2001, most actors participated in the “Facts of Life Reunion” TV movie on ABC. The only missing member is McKeon, who arranged conflicts for her work in the lifelong TV series The Division.
