Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating why flights are approaching Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Although not present in the area, alerts were received from other possible aircraft nearby.
Several pilots received alerts, the FAA said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“Several flight crew members received an alarm on board at Reagan Washington National Airport on Saturday indicating no other aircraft were nearby in the area,” the FAA said. “Some crews were executed due to the alarm.”
The agency added: “The FAA is investigating why the alarm is issued.”
