EXCLUSIVE: Pentagon denies NBC report on Charlie Kirk recruiting campaign, calls it ‘100% wrong’

The Pentagon is working hard to push back NBC News Accuses military leaders of the process of weighing new recruitment drives related to the killing legacy Conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Pentagon Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson told Fox News Digital that the report was “100% wrong” and blows up NBC’s “publishing false claims on anonymous sources.”

“This hasn’t happened, but fake news NBC published the report as if using anonymous sources that don’t understand what the recruitment team is doing,” Wilson said.

The Pentagon also released its original statement to NBC, with Chief Spokesperson Sean Parnell accusing the media of inventing lies about recruitment efforts in an attempt to undermine the government.

“The media is so desperate to attack the administration’s success that they are inventing lies right now,” Parnell said. “Under the strong leadership of President Trump and Secretary Heggs, men and women are passionately serving this great country.”

An NBC article written by NBC journalist Courtney Kube cited two unnamed officials who claimed staff and preparations Anthony Tata’s deputy defense secretary was discussing the recruitment campaign as a national “call for services.”

According to NBC, potential slogans include: “Charlie awakened a generation of warriors.” The report also claims that the chapters of the U.S. turning point may be listed as recruiting centers.

Media noted that some officials allegedly warned that such efforts could be seen as “exploiting” Kirk’s assassination.

Fox News has contacted NBC News for comment on the Pentagon’s denial. NBC News did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Charlie Kirk, the founder of the American Turnaround Point, was assassinated earlier this month.

His coffin was flew by two people to Arizona, President Trump Vice President JD Vance,,,,, Minister of War Pete Heggsother senior officials planned to attend his memorial service.
