The previous one New York Yankees Star Brett Gardner and his wife Jessica announced the heartbreaking death of their son Miller on Sunday. He is 14 years old.
Miller passed away Friday on Friday, Gardners said in a statement from the team Get ill During vacation. The parents said other family members were also sick. They said they were looking for the answer.

“We are sad with a heavy heart to announce the death of our youngest son, Miller. He is 14 years old and has left us after he fell ill with several other family members on vacation,” their statement read. “We have many questions at the moment, and few answers, but we do know that he passed away peacefully during his sleep on Friday, March 21.
“Miller is a beloved son and brother, and without his smile we still can’t understand our lives. He loves football, baseball, golf, hunting, fishing, his family and his friends. He lives a fulfilling life every day.”
The Gardners thank those who expressed their support and demanded privacy.

The Yankees also issued a statement about Miller’s death.
“Our hearts are heavy, and the Yankees are filled with sadness after learning about the death of Miller Gardner,” the team said. “Vocabulary feels trivial and inadequate in trying to describe this unimaginable loss. Not only Brett grew up in the organization for more than 17 years, but also his wife Jessica and their two boys, Hunter and Hunter and Miller.”
“We grieve for Brett, Jessica, Hunter and his family and friends community to mourn the loss of Miller, who has sparks in his eyes, an extroverted and energetic personality and a passionate and loving nature.
“Our love for the Gardner family is unconditional and absolute, and we will provide lasting support while understanding their desire for privacy at this time.”
It is not clear where the Gardners are on vacation.

Gardner was a Yankees outfielder for 14 seasons and they joined the team when they won the last one World Contest Title of 2009.

He retired after the 2021 season and has since left baseball.
