According to Velasquez’s lawyer, he learned in February 2022 that his son was harassed by Goularte “hundreds of times” while attending the San Marin Day Center run by Goularte’s mother.
Goularte was arrested in February 2022 for suspected obscene and lustful behavior with minors. But two days later, the judge released him. The next day Velasquez saw him on the street and decided to seek revenge.
