Former Penn State star Abdul Carter may be the Tennessee Titans’ No. 1 draft pick in 2025 NFL Draft next month.
The Titans will have a lot of trade-offs in the weeks leading up to the draft.

The outstanding Fringe Stormtrooper made his case a top choice for the Penn State Career Festival.
“I think my overall impact on the game,” he said. By ESPN. “My versatility. I can play multiple positions and most importantly, when the crunch time comes I need to be most needed, I will step up. When you need someone to make a big game, I feel like I’m the big play guy.
“At the end of the day, I make the people around me better, just bring them into the dual team, get my extra attention, free up others so they can make the game, and it’s just my overall impact on the game.”
Carter did not play in Career Day as he recovered from an arm injury suffered in the college football playoffs. The arm is “almost” 100 percent, he said. He also handled the stress response in his right foot, but insisted that he had no pain and no surgery was needed.

“Those great defensive players, you look at history, they can influence the game as much as the quarterback,” he added. “In those playoff scenes, there are defensive players taking over a game at the end of the Super Bowl, in those you do need that great defensive player. He also makes the people around him better. So, I just say, seeing how the defensive players take over a game, we’re like quarterbacks.”
Carter is the 2024 Defensive Player of the Year. In 16 games, he had 24 tackle losses and 12 sacks, which was the first time in the nation.
If Titans don’t choose Carter, Cleveland Brown It could also be another market for top defensive players.
