The Dolphins lost to the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots and will enter the third game of the season against the Buffalo Bills with a second gap difference in the NFL of -31.
Former NFL star guard Shawne Merriman predicts that change will soon come to the Dolphins.

“The team will be demolished here soon, and I think that will start with head coach Mike McDaniel,” he told Fox News Digital. “I think they’re going to start (seeking) deals or let go of some of the most frustrated players. You have a frustrated Mount Tyrek. Mount Tyrek is a very, very crucial figure in the locker room.
“So when you see him feeling frustrated and that happens…he is frustrated by himself and it drips into a lot of people, which can be a bad situation for him. It can be a bad situation for the organization.”
Merriman also said he was impressed by McDaniel’s press conference after losing to the Patriots.
McDaniel Confusing quotes When asked about the team’s failure to score third and fourth conversions in the final game.
“It was a frustration for me, it wasn’t the decision to pay us, nor the party calls that sometimes happen,” McDaniel said. “But it wasn’t that time. I got the call from the drama, but I needed to do better to oversee the choreography in our multiple human-industry groups.
“To win the game, you have to win the game, not to be honest. That’s how you lose the game. You’re moving the ball to the court, you’re first and 10, and then you find yourself in second and 20. It’s important.”
Merriman said that it didn’t really inspire confidence.

“I don’t know if Mike McDaniel has been successful throughout the season,” he told Fox News Digital. “I don’t want to see anyone get fired. But just see what I’ve seen at his press conference, I’ve seen it before.
“It’s when you know if some coaches aren’t ready to take the position by how to deal with the worst adversity. Some of the answers from Mike McDaniel screaming ‘He’s not ready to be in this position.’ Not because he can’t coach, but a very good coordinator who doesn’t know how to run a team yet, he needs to learn how to play this position before he takes on another head coach.”

“Obviously, I think it’s a group effort. Mike is a great offensive mind. He proved that,” Marino said. “Yesterday (Sunday), like all the NFL games, to the fourth quarter. Almost everyone is like that, you have to play all four quarters. We did, we have a chance to win.
“Dolphin, if (De’von) Achane didn’t go out of the line, I really felt like we would win the game. That’s what happened, there were a few mistakes, and next you know you lost the game. That’s why it’s so crucial at the end, especially playing the wrong football. But Mike is a great football coach.”
Winning solves a lot of things in the sport, and the Dolphins may turn the ship around with Bill’s victory.

However, the Dolphins’ winning streak against Bills in a six-game winning streak has not beaten them since September 25, 2022. This is their victory against them since December 2, 2018. Additionally, Miami has not defeated Buffalo’s Bill since Christmas Eve 2016.
