JJ Watt He has been busy since retiring from the NFL after the 2022 season.
He joined CBS Sports as an NFL analyst and became a minority investor at Burnley Football Club, who won the Premier League promotion. Watt made his debut at the CBS booth on Sunday.

NFL Fans immediately noticed that Watt was a little different. He changed his hairstyle during the year, leaving the famous crew cuts away from his entire competition career. The CBS campaign calls it “feathers and deadly.”
He is calling Ian Eagle New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Watt’s brother TJ plays for the Steelers.

CBS announced that Watt will be the color commentator for the game that will begin the 2025 season.
“Nothing is better than the energy and excitement of getting into the stadium on NFL game day,” he said in a statement earlier this year. “I can’t miss the opportunity to get back to this atmosphere every week and work with Ian’s best. While I certainly missed passing hits on the court, it would be nice to leave the stadium and not be willing to leave unless Ian decides to try something crazy.”
Watt played in the NFL for 12 years between the Houston Texans and the Arizona Cardinals. He has 114.5 sacks and won the Defensive Player of the Year three times.
