A former Michigan prosecutor exploded for suggesting Turning Point US founder Charlie Kirk He was responsible for his own assassination Wednesday due to his Second Amendment stance.
Carol Siemon resigned as the top prosecutor in Ingham County in 2022, including most of the Michigan state capital Lansing Gun rights.
“I’m very sorry. But I’m sure he doesn’t mind because he said the shootings and gun deaths are the price he’s willing to pay for his almost unrestrained ability to own and use guns. I support wise gun control, and maybe he will, too.”
Siemon, who did not respond to a request for comment, appeared to have deleted her account.
Kirk, 31, is Shoot and kill Speaking Wednesday at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Conservative activists and father of two have been leading his American comeback journey and are asking supporters and critics when he was killed.

But despite the tribute to Kirk, fans and colleagues from all over the world poured in, Simon’s speech quickly sparked fire. Former Michigan Speaker and current gubernatorial candidate Tom Leonard Her remarks “politicized murder of young father and husband.”

Siemon, who was elected as the county’s first female prosecutor in 2016, has since been criticized for her gentle criminal record and conflicts with law enforcement and the judiciary.

In 2019, she allowed Anthony McRae, who later was responsible for the 2023 mass shooting at Michigan State University, killing three people and injuring five people, to charge felony on misdemeanor charges.

The decision means McCree avoided jail time and maintained his ability to buy guns.
In 2022, Ingham County Judge Rosemarie Aquilina rejected the lawsuit agreement, Siemon was defended for convicted murderer Kiernan Brown, accusing prosecutors of “trying to be creative in compliance with the law” and publicly calling on her to resign.
