Eufy just introduced some new devices at an IFA conference in Germany, including the Marswalker. This little Doodad picked up the robot vacuum and brought it up and down the stairs. Consider that stairs are the bane of any Robovac existence.
The company says Marswalker automatically recognizes common stair types, including straight, L and U.S. It transports vacuum between floors when needed and places it on the base station when needed. Eufy owns the device to allow for “truly hands-free home cleaning while avoiding the cost of buying multiple devices.”
It uses four control arms that “dynamically adapt to the stair structure” and a track drive system that “holds firmly every step”. The company notes that it is designed to prevent slips and falls.
Here are a few warnings. First of all, we don’t have a price yet. If this ends up reaching the actual price of a robot vacuum, it’s better to just buy two for a multi-story home. Again, it only works on a few Eufy models, and there are no third-party devices. However, it’s so cool to see the robot vacuum . It’s a slow road here. Marswalker will be released in the first half of 2026.
The company also announced a new Robovac at IFA, the robot is fully integrated with Marswalker. The Omni S2 includes a rather novel aromatherapy system and adaptive hubs to remove thicker carpets (such as thick carpets). It will be available in January and costs $1,600.
