Embattled New York City Mayor Eric Adams has gained support from an unusual corner this week – the Lonely Republican of the Big Apple in the U.S. House.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis of RN.Y. warns Kathy Hochul of New York to avoid moving to Oster Adams over the criminal charges he faces recently (Oust Adams). Hochul and Adams are both Democrats.
“Just as I criticize Mayor Adams for not agreeing with his policies, the governor is wrong here and motivated by politics rather than law,” Malliotakis said in a statement Tuesday night.
“She was anxious to dismiss him because he was working with the Trump administration to get rid of our dangerous foreign criminals and gangs. The real question is, why did Governor Hawkell do his best to protect criminals in our country, criminals who illegally prey New Yorkers?”
