Curry spoke to Fox News Digital about Flagg, knowing he was preparing to return to the court with his teammates to win a promising national championship.
“He came to college for a reason, and he didn’t have to go to college in the first place,” Curry said, while discussing his partnership with Bush’s Beans and what he did for Madness March. “You go there to play in the ACC Championship, you go there to play in March Madness, that’s his time.”

But, like he mentioned, going to Duke has a championship bloodline, and every player wearing black and blue lines wants to portray their own name in the show’s big history book.
Flag seems to have this mentality, as Scheyer mentioned his star student came to him and asked to compete in the ACC Championship, but the team wanted him to keep the NCAA Championship in mind.
“He’ll be fine in the NBA, it’s not just about getting ready for the future,” Curry said. “It’s about those experiences and why you go to college, especially if you go to Duke. It’s the time of the year why it’s done. It’s his chance to leave his legacy on that campus and the program like all of us.
“Some of them enjoying the memories of the game with teammates, and you can’t pay for it. I know he wants to play.”
Fans will see if Flag fits Friday, when the Blue Devils ranked 16th in Mount St. Mary’s, who went into the first round of the game by defeating U.S. college in their “first four” games.
