Drew Barrymore “Charlie’s Angel” The spy skills paid off for her family.
Barrymore, 50, revealed in “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” that her daughter suffered serious injuries recently while riding a mountain bike in France.
Barrymore visits ahead of her own talk show season six debut “Evening Performance” and said she felt very bad about canceling her last party with Colbert’s wife (her good friend Evelyn McGee Colbert), but explained that she had a good reason.
“She’s fine, yes, everything is fine,” Barrymore said. “My daughter actually happened to her in an e-bike accident.” France, Sounds great.

“Yes, we were great in France and then she had an e-bike accident. She was like a mile up the hill and tearing the whole elbow open. It was just…I mean…I mean we spent a few days in the ER and went in and out-she was fine.”
Barrymore added: “But she took off her bra and turned it into a tourniquet and I was like…”

“You raised her right,” Colbert assured the actress. “You raised her rights. Are you ready for this?”

Barrymore said, “No, that’s her, I just marveled at her.”
“You have to do the right thing for her to do something,” Colbert said before Barrymore questioned whether she had anything to do. “Of course, they lead by example, aren’t they?”
Barrymore added: “God, I wish I was cool.”

Talk show hosts previously revealed that she had no “blueprint” when raising children.
“All those parents who are together have hygiene, nutrition, schedule and boundaries, and God bless you,” Barrymore said in the “Chicken in the Office” podcast. “I didn’t know anything when I had kids.
“I don’t have a blueprint, I feel a lot of failures. I feel really overwhelmed, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing…I don’t know what I’m doing, I have to learn at work.'”
