On Wednesday, the second day of the trial, witness Nancy Jo Hancock, a woman dating Charles Vallow, was shot and killed in July 2019 – a fierce exchange with Vallow daybell during a cross-check.

In court, Vallow Daybell asked Hancock about the date and whether Hancock knew she and Vallow were still married at the time.
“If he said he was married, would you date him?” asked Vallow Daybell.
Hancock replied, “If I realized how married he was still, maybe not.” “But I just met for supper. I didn’t sleep with him.”

“Will you naturally date a married man?” Before prosecuting the objection, Vallow Daybell fired a back shot and called its question “debate and harassment.”
Daybell Vallow continues to question Hancock, who was fired after continuing to be oppressed after a date.
“So you spent the whole date to know each other, talk about me?” asked Vallow Daybell.
“Don’t talk to yourself,” Hancock replied. “No, we didn’t spend the whole time talking about you.”
“Don’t talk to yourself.”
Heated communication swept the internet, sharing several reactions online.
In another moment during Hancock’s cross-examination, Vallow Daybell once again asked witnesses whether she knew he was “dating websites and dating women” while dating Charles Vallow.
The premise of the prosecution opposing speculation was maintained by the judge. Vallow Daybell then reconstituted her question, asking Charles Vallow whether to inform Hancock about “Lorry and Charles’ “separate”.

Hancock replied: “His impression is that you have an affair, so it’s a natural progression for him to move forward.”

Vallow Daybell then asked for more information about Hancock’s communication with Charles Vallow’s sister Kay Woodcock. JJ Vallow refers to Kay and her husband Larry Woodcock as his grandparents. After asking Hancock to describe her communication with Woodcock, Vallow Daybell suddenly cuts off witnesses when she starts discussing JJ Vallow.
“To express condolences for her brother’s death, want her to know how much he loved JJ I had dinner with him last night, how excited he was to see him the next morning,” Hancock began Hancock before Vallow Daybell interrupted.
“Thank you. That’s enough,” the defendant said.

The next strange exchange took place between Vallow Daybell and her brother Adam Cox, who told the jury that he had flew to Phoenix before Charles passed away, claiming he went to help Charles intervene with his sister.
During the cross-examination, Vallow Daybell didn’t ask many questions, which seemed to prove that they hadn’t interacted with each other for years.
“The last time I remember our communication was when you and I were talking in the kitchen, and that family was over,” Cox said.
“So you think that was that time in 2018?” asked Vallow Daybell.

“I think so,” Cox replied.
“Are we eating my green chili chicken enchilada?” she asked.

“I don’t remember,” Cox replied.

Vallow Daybell once again questioned that he didn’t remember it and said, “That’s what I do every time I have a family gathering, about 10 times a year.”

Vallow Daybell explained to Arizona’s real crime that she has been “handling the case for five years” and after making a decision to represent herself, “better than a lawyer can learn in two years,” than a lawyer can learn it.
“It’s a thing, and when you give up on a quick trial, they can stay here as much as they want,” Vallow told Real crime Arizona. “There are smart, strong, beautiful women here for eight years because of family tragedy. Just like my case, family tragedy, not crime. Family tragedy, they are waiting, they are waiting, they are facing the death penalty for family tragedy.”
