President Trump posted a news report on a man accused of posing with the governor of Illinois in a photo a week ago, poking it on JB Pritzker.
Less than a week after a crash and robbery crew killed an innocent man on Thursday in a grand mile in Chicago, a man now accused of murder wore a “peacekeeping officer” uniform and posed with Mr Pritzker.
Cwbchicago News Media first reported Kellen McMiller35, with outstanding warrants in four states, including Florida, Indiana and Wisconsin, as he plays the role of “peacekeeper” and the photo next to Mr. Pritzker is the photo.
“It’s people like this that we need to do more hard work in community violence than destroying the forces that fight crime,” Pritzker said on Facebook.
The photo was eventually scrubbed from the state’s online press release.
A Pritzker spokesman said in a statement that the governor met hundreds of people a week and was often asked to take pictures.
“We are very troublesome to learn that this person has been arrested for allegedly participating in this serious crime and we hope they are held responsible to the fullest extent of the law. The Governor will continue to do his best to fight crime, ensure the safety of our communities, and support community violent interventions that have proven to be effective.
“For example, the Peacekeeping Personnel Program has had a strong track record in the past two years that has reduced violent crime by 41% and provides a path to recovery for community members.”
Mr. Trump has been threatening weeks of threats to send the National Guard to Chicago to fight crime, while Mr. Pritzker has been telling the White House that the city does not want or needs troops.
Prosecutors said a pack of thieves smashed a pickup truck into a display window of the Louis Vuitton store on North Michigan Avenue and stole $700 worth of merchandise, early in the morning of Sept. 11.
When Chicago police arrived, the crew loaded the cargo into the evasion vehicle, with one of the Black Kia’s cars heading to Michigan Avenue at 77 mph and running a red light until it crashed into the Honda CR-V.
Honda’s driver is Mark Arceta, 40, of Skokie. Mr. Arceta has a green light and is heading for the last class at Northwestern University before starting his biological holiday.
He was killed in the crash and his wife gave birth to their son soon after.
The prosecutor said McMiller He is one of five thieves in Kia and is still hospitalized due to injuries caused by a crash.
