DOGE reportedly planning a hackathon to build ‘mega API’ for IRS data | TechCrunch

Elon Musk’s Ministry of Efficiency (Doge)plan Hackathon next week Wired said it focused on creating a “Mega API” that will provide access to taxpayer data.

Wired said the hackathon was organized by two Doge staff from the Internal Revenue Agency – Gavin Kilger and Sam Corcos, who is also the CEO of HealthTech startup level. Cocos reportedly has been telling others about his goal to build “a new API to rule all APIs”.

This will allow cloud providers to easily access IRS data, including taxpayer names, addresses, social insurance numbers, tax returns and employment information, which can be exported to external systems. According to Wired, third-party vendors will manage certain parts of the project, and Palantir “consistently” as a candidate.

It is reportedly the door to the most sensitive information of all Americans controlled by Musk, with no rules that usually ensure that data. ”
