On Friday afternoon, DOI’s CI and Information Security Officer and DOI’s associate attorney were on holiday and told they were under investigation for workplace behavior, according to people familiar with the matter. It is believed that within the department, on Saturday, Doge was granted access to the FPP, although the level of privilege they were granted was unclear.
“We are working to implement the president’s directives that cut costs and make the administration more effective against the American people and take action to implement President Trump’s executive orders,” a DOI spokesman said.
“These guys,” a source in Doe said, worried that the Doge affiliate could inadvertently destroy certain parts of the nearly 30-year-old FPP, stop payroll, or allow violations of the entire system, “not knowing what they are doing.”
