Amid the ongoing surge in defense technology investment, senior manufacturing company Divergent Technologies has raised $290 million to expand the production of missile parts and other specialized components for military personnel.
The company’s emphasis on the company is $2.3 billion, the first Reported by Bloomberg. Divergent’s clients include major defense prime Lockheed Martin, RTX and general dynamics.
New capital, of which $40 million is debt, will help the company expand its manufacturing facility in Los Angeles and break ground on a new facility in Oklahoma next year. Divergent’s professional 3D printers can hold up to 600 parts.
The salary increase highlights investors’ interest in startups, as weapons demand continues to form traditional supply chains that promote domestic manufacturing capabilities in the U.S.
