Arndt’s family noted that he “spent multiple seasons at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland” and then pursued a Hollywood career.

The actor made his debut in the 1974 TV movie “Out of Control on the Rogue River”, whose early careers included guest appearances in “Age of Miracle” and “Murder”, she wrote, “Life continues.”

He appeared in the 1995 TV series “How to Make an American Quilt” and the 2001 sports drama “Indisputable”.

In 2003, Arndt played Sgt. Howard is based on an action thriller of the 1970s series of the same name.

Arndt’s family wrote in his idioms when he received a Tony Award Nominated for his performance in the 2017 Broadway drama Heisenberg.

Arndt’s family noted that they will hold a private funeral for the actors, adding: “Instead of flowers, he will ask you to grab the ball and follow your passion.”

Arndt is survived by his 45-year-old wife, Magee Downey, his seven children and “many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren” and his niece.
