For my Chicagoans, imagine a city where you and your kids walk safely on the streets day or night without hearing gunshots every day. Chicago is one of our most iconic cities with great potential to be a safe and prosperous city that we all want to be.
Unfortunately, Pritzker and Johnson abdicated their first responsibility to ensure citizens’ safety. Their “butcher bill” is no longer tolerated or normalized. Now is the time for President Trump to take action.
