At a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard vowed that the need was “confidential material” shared in a signal text chat that did not have “confidential material” and the editor of the chat said he could use it. The U.S. action against Houthis in Yemen was reportedly discussed in a chat between senior cabinet officials.
