Philadelphia – It’s a chasm, if not as old as time, at least as old as the average American experience in high school: wrestlers and basketball players. like Hawks head coach Nick Siriania few years ago, Trump looked like he had finished. But, just as the birds ended up at the Lombardy Trophy, Trump returned to Philadelphia with victory.

Hotels and restaurants in the center city are full of wrestling families this week, and at the elite level, wrestlers, coaches and even dads look like crouching, solid, muscular types in most cases, you can break the cinder blocks.
I joked with a coach that when I was in Philadelphia High School, we were all away from wrestlers because “Once they brought you to the ground, I forgot.” He assured me, “Yes, it’s still that way.”

It was an extremely wise politics for the White House to make a appearance in the Fighting Championship final on Saturday. Like all Trump’s regular appearances in combat sports events, Trump got an anniversary applause, but this time it was in one of the blueest cities in the United States.
Now, a cynical person might point out that most of the people attending the event are not from Philadelphia, which is true. But on the other hand, the blue and white of Penn State are everywhere this week because the university is the absolute power of the sport.

These guys are in the gym 15 times a day because they like it even if they don’t allow them to wear garbage bags to lose weight. This is exactly the hard work and dedication that many Trump voters see in the president.
Back in October, I wrote on these pages that Philadelphia was Kamala Harris’ Alamo of Kamala Harris, a place she could stand up in a state she was obviously lost, even if the vote was invisible.
At present, it is hard to see how hatred is suppressed, mostly from the left to allow Americans who love or hate Trump to hang out in peace and harmony.

Until recently, the U.S. chasm has separated those who think Trump is effective, even if it is a little high, those who worry about being authoritarian.

In high school, there is a party or event every once in a while, where wrestlers and ballets are there, and when appropriate, we can tolerate or even enjoy each other’s company.

But that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. After all, this old basketball guy had a great time in the wrestling crowd. Even though I was secretly checking March Madness brackets on my phone at the time.
