Standing Comic David Lucas believes that good real comedy can bring people healing like the spiritual words of religious leaders.
In with Fox News Numbers, The rising comedian described that despite his traditional upbringing that might have made him a leader in the congregation, he found that he could bring another type of healing to people through his comedy style.
He describes his comedy as “in a sense, preaching to many people who have experienced different periods of their lives and recovering for many.”

Macon, Georgia native, talks about the character who grew up as fathers with a single mother and his strict religious grandfather.
He said: “Yes, I grew up in Macon, Georgia, and I grew up with A’s traditional Baptist family. My grandfather was very strict.”
Lucas mentioned how his grandfather brought him to the “church”, joked as if his grandfather was preparing for religious life.
“So it’s crazy for me to do this because he seems to be preparing to be a missionary of some sort,” he said.
Just as missionaries help the soul through spiritual darkness, Lucas believes that the comedian is like him, Joe Rogan In an era when traditional media is widely smeared, others are helping people see the truth.
“I feel like during a very dark time, Logan’s podcast brought a lot of enlightenment to people, especially when he started bringing people who recognized him, to support his words,” Lucas said.
“But a lot of the public media we know are being discredited. I think it comes with the situation with Kuved and George Floyd. You know, they do have a lot of fear about us – a lot of fear, a lot of doubt, people don’t know where to turn.”
He continued, “So when you turn on JRE [Joe Rogan Experience]you know this guy tells you, “Hey, if you’re a healthy adult, maybe you won’t get the vaccine.” And then people are like, “Okay, that’s in line with what I believe, because why did I put a vaccine in the system that I don’t know anything about?”
Rogan’s podcast and others – Podcast by comedian Theo von – Traditional media and news networks have been widely praised in recent months, especially around the 2024 presidential election. Many say President Trump appears on those long-term plans and wins his election.
On his latest, particularly special “Invalidity,” the comic shows his own anti-status viewpoint, ridiculing jokes about the cultural and political norms of the current era.
Lucas’s Special 2024 fell online, with former President Joe Biden and politicians like President Trump joking and opposing the #MeToo movement and the LGBTQ movement, especially in the transgender community.
However, although Lucas insists on a high degree of political theme, he insists that he does not consider himself a political cartoon, but rather a person who jokes based on “common sense.”
“I really don’t like taking a political stand, even if many of the views in my life are more correct.
A large part of his motivation to have some direct conversations and common sense on the audience is his contempt for groups that think they should be unrestricted.
He stressed to Fox that he refused to go easier on more sensitive groups and said no one should avoid jokes.

“But, just like some groups want this special treatment, they want to be part of it [of society]. Well, be part of it, accompanied by jokes and criticism. So you have to accept all aspects of it. “It’s not just one side. That’s it,” he said.
The pursuit of sensitive groups or sensitive disciplines seems to be one of the favorite aspects of Lucas’ comedy.
