The next incident happened later that day when the boy took classes with the same teacher.
The student reportedly moved the flannel away to calm down, but when the teacher noticed the T-shirt again, she issued “pink shoes” to the boy and sent him to the principal’s office for discipline.
According to the complaint, the principal “required” the boy to wear flannel for the rest of the day and “never wear items that convey the content of the speech again.”

The third incident occurred when the student wore the same T-shirt again in January, when the teacher involved in the November incident noticed and pulled him aside and asked, “Do you like offending others?” according to the complaint.
“That’s not my problem, no one has to read my shirt,” the boy replied, allegedly giving him a “dirty look” and walked away.
The principal later met with the boy and his father, Richard Conrad, and claimed that the sentence was a “code” of vulgar expression. However, his father thought he wouldn’t explain the slogan that way.
The fourth incident occurred when the boy was detained by the principal again on March 24.

“Criticism of the president is a core political speech protected by the First Amendment,” Fire lawyer Conor Fitzpatrick said earlier. “Whether it’s a biden sticker, ‘Let’s go to Brandon sweatshirts or gay pride T-shirts, schools can’t choose the political beliefs that students can express.”
The incident involving two students is part of the district’s “political preference model”, namely “erroneously relied on a policy that prohibited “blasphemy” clothing to review this particular information,” the fire said.

“When the school district relaxed the outfit requirements for the outdoor day, a school administrator ordered a student to stop wearing the Trump flag as a cloak, but allowed other students to wear the gay pride flag in the same way,” the panel said in a press release announcing the lawsuit.
“The existence of a slogan is a way to express anti-recruiting messages without using profane, not using profane,” Fitzpatrick said. “Public school districts cannot be reviewed simply because it may cause someone to consider a swearing word.”
