represent. Jasmine CrockettD-Texas raised objections on social media on Monday after her video surfaced, saying the role of local law enforcement is only to solve the crime, not to stop it.
The clip of Crockett appearing on the “Grounding” podcast premiered last Wednesday became popular as critics caught in her speech.
“What I think clearly is that law enforcement is not about preventing crime. Law enforcement solves crime, okay? That’s what they should do. They should solve crime and it doesn’t necessarily prevent them from happening themselves,” she said.

Crockett, one of them Democratic Party Most outspoken figures have made statements while discussing how law enforcement can be used to clean up crimes in Washington state.
“I think it’s really scary,” Crockett said of Trump’s use of the National Guard and various law enforcement agencies in the city.
“What is it that we have a government that is hostile to its people?’ Because that’s the truth. I mean, we’re in a hostile government takeover and it’s our government that brings hostility.”
The lawmakers explained how the guards, ice and other law enforcement agencies did not train with Trump’s use, and then showed that she pointed out that the work of local law enforcement is not about preventing, but just about solving crimes.

Reporter Nick Sartor shared the clip on X with the rebuke.
“WTF?! Jasmine Crockett: ‘Law enforcement is not about preventing crime! Law enforcement solves crime, okay? That’s what they should do.” Just when I thought Democrats couldn’t get Dunber out, Jasmine Crockett opened his mouth again. ”
“Real speech is one of the stupidest words of anyone on earth,” said scientist and author Matt Van Swol, who blows up Crockett.
Minister of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard Deputy Chief of Staff Alexa Henning commented: “Scare fools into higher offices.”
Law enforcement officer and consultant Deon Joseph responded to Crockett’s claim.
He wrote on X: “Jasmine Crockett is wrong. It’s our job. We just need more support. I’m not signing up and just waiting for people to suffer.”

Tiktok’s conservative account lib quoted Crockett in an article and commented: “Hmm, what???”
