Country Music Star Carly Pearce sheds light on her health.
The 34-year-old shared a health update after being diagnosed with a “severe” heart disease with “strong” heart disease.
“I did better,” Pierce said to Fox News numbers. “I still…a general health journey…continue to hope this recurrent pericarditis does not recur.”

Pericarditis is inflammation of the pericardial, a sac-like structure with two thin layers of tissue that holds it in place around the heart and helps protect it from infection and malignant damage. American Heart Association.
Although Pearce’s health was initially “dismissed” by medical professionals, she continued to appeal to the doctor until she got an answer.

“My biggest advice for anyone is: Listen to your body and be your own advocate… A lot of doctors fired me until I got diagnosed and I was persistent.”
While country music star Carly Pearce’s health journey is undoubtedly challenging, her goal is to spread awareness in a way that saves the lives of others who may experience similar medical conditions.

Earlier this year, the singer of “I Want You to Be Happy” detailed her “strong” symptoms.
“My chest pain is really debilitating, and it’s just like this to bend over (tilt forward), which is a classic symptom of pericarditis,” she explained.
“And when you lie down, it gets worse because that wall is inflamed In your heart.“
Pearce, who was on the Hummingbird Tour at the time, added on her Hummingbird Tour: “I had a shortness of breath.”

The country star has been suffering from a heart condition for nearly five years and previously mentioned that she has had “several flares” since 2020.
Her family has a history of heart problems. Her father survived when he was 19 years old.
Pierce initially revealed her health battle on social media in May 2024. At the time, she told fans that things had changed a bit more severely.

“Hey, I’ve been transparent and honest with every part of my life, so I think it should be the same honesty,” Pierce said on Instagram.
“You guys know I’ve been dealing with some health issues and through me I developed something called pericarditis, which is a heart problem.”
“I’ve been working with doctors and talking to cardiologists, but I still want to go out; it’s really important to me, but we all think it’s in my best interest because I’m recovering to change my performance.”

Yearwood, 60, won a star on Monday during a Hollywood celebrity journey. The singer of “How I Live” is surrounded by loved ones, including her 20-year-old husband, Garth Brooks and country star Reba Mcentire.
Pearce gave a speech at the ceremony, talking about the performance of Mindwood over the years and noting that she has selected her as a member of the Big Ole Opry.

Pierce said she has come a long way since she first started working in the music industry. When Pierce was 16, Kentucky convinced her parents to allow her to work Singing in Dollywood.
“I think the 16-year-old is sure she will get here, but it’s beyond my wildest dream in the world,” Pierce told Fox News Digital.
