Coldplay Respect Charlie Kirk and his family at a concert at Wembley Stadium in London.
Chris Martin took the stage with the band in the middle of the arena and encouraged the audience to bring some love into the world at the last stop of the “Sphere Music” tour.
Kirk, 31, was shot dead during his speech engagement Utah Valley University Wednesday, September 10, in Orem City. His wife, Erika Kirk, and their two children survived.

“Let’s raise our hands and send love to the world,” Martin said in the video. Share on tiktok.
“You can send it to your brother or sister, you can send it to the family of someone who has experienced horrible things, you can send it to the family of Charlie Kirk.”
Martin continued: “You can send it to people you disagree with, but you will send them love anyway. You can send it to people who are peaceful in the Middle East, Ukraine and Russia, Azerbaijan, Sudan and Somalia. Wherever you think you might need love in London.”
Martin then counts down and sends this love away with a fireworks show.

The band joins many musicians who pay tribute to conservative activists after their death last week.

Morgan Wallen told the crowd that he prayed for the Kirks while traveling to “My Problem” in Edmonton, Alberta.

On September 12, Erika broke her silence about her husband’s death. In video uploaded to US turn points YouTube account, Erika said: “Charlie loves, loves life. He loves his life. He loves America. He loves nature, and that helps him always bring him closer to God.”
Erika continued, “But the most important thing is that Charlie loves his children and he loves me with all his heart. I know, every day I know that. He makes sure he knows it every day. He asks me every day and he asks me, ‘How can I serve you better? How can I be a better husband? How can I be a better father?’’ Every day, he is a good person.
