One clause in the legal agreement between the two companies says Leonard has the ability to “reject any action the company wants”, which basically leaves him paying without doing anything.
Torre never found evidence That Leonard Sales or accredits the company.
More obviously, Torre found a clause saying Leonard had only $28 million if he was still a member of the Clippers.

Torre said he spoke with his former Aspiration employee about the contract, one of whom agreed to be interviewed by the voice modifier. The employee claimed the agreement between Wish and Leonard was intended to “bypass the salary cap.”

“Neither Mr. Ballmer nor the Clippers evaded the salary cap and did not engage in any misconduct related to ambitions. Any assertion to the contrary is wrong.”
The connection from aspiration to KL2 Aspire LLC is also conducted through Leonard’s consultant Dennis Robertson’s history of the NBA investigation. Robertson was investigated in 2019 for seeking unauthorized benefits, although the league found that “Uncle Dennis” was not guilty of the Clippers seeking illegal benefits from his clients when free agents were grounded.
“We know about the media reports about the LA Clippers this morning and start investigating them,” NBA spokesman Mike Bass told ESPN.
Fox News Digital contacted Leonard representatives to comment.
Leonard, a highly sought-after free agent that year, was surprised to find out that he chose the Clippers with a three-year, $104 million contract.
The Clippers will expand Leonard in 2021 with a four-year, $176 million deal and continue to keep him in place in 2024 and extend a three-year, $149 million extension.
