First announced at CES 2024 Click Physical keyboard add-ons for iPhone It turns out to be a humble hot. Soon, some Android users will be able to participate. that’s right. The company has just announced a redesign specifically for certain Android phones.
The overall design doesn’t look much different from the iPhone version. It’s a sleeve that you pop the phone in. Once connected, you can enter physical keys through the free Android Companion app. There are backlit keys, USB-C charging and support for shortcuts. By its essence, the Clicks keyboard also offers more screen real estate, which is always good.
The company says these new versions have “brush metal side keys, microfiber interiors and precision molded fences that are customizable to fit every Android smartphone.” That being said, the Android-based click keyboard is only with Pixel 9 and 9 Prothis Galaxy S25 and Moto Razr+. The last one actually requires a unique design, given that RAZR+ is a flip-style foldable.
The Pixel 9 version will be released first at the end of April, with an introductory pre-order price of $99. The promotion will end on March 21 and costs up to $139. The RAZR+ case will be released in May, with the same $99 booking activity continuing until March 21. Samsung Galaxy models will be shipped starting in June and are available on the same $99/$139 pre-order pricing model with a March 21 deadline.
