Humans have begun to launch Small but major updates to Claude. Starting today, you can use chatbots to create and edit Excel spreadsheets, documents, PowerPoint slide decks, and PDFs. In the past, Claude proposed Basic file supportbut now you can interact with any document you need to modify directly through the chatbot. New features are part of the feature preview as long as you have one Maximumteam or education subscription. Sorry, professional and free users, you have to wait. The preview will be launched “in the next few weeks” to allow free access to users without a schedule.

To view the preview, toggle Upgrade File Creation and Analysis in the Settings menu, you can first select Features and then select Experiment. You can then upload or describe the file you want Claude to create or edit for you and download the creation of Claude when you are satisfied with the results.
