Beijing – China approves the construction of the National Nature Reserve in Scarborough Shoal, a disputed territory the Philippines It is also claimed to be in the South China Sea.
China’s State Council issued a notice online on Wednesday that detailed information on the project’s size and size will be released separately by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration.

The waters are an important transport lane, patrolled by the U.S. Navy, and are home to valuable fishing grounds and potential mineral resources.
Last month, a Chinese naval ship collided with a Chinese Coast Guard ship while trying to stop a Philippine Coast Guard near the Scarborough Shoal. According to the videotape, a high-speed crash may have killed at least two Chinese personnel.
